An annual VHB textbook prize awarded by the Association of University Teachers for Business Administration goes to Prof. Dr. Marko Sarstedt and his co-authors J. F. Hair, Jr. /C. in 2019. M. Ringle/S. P. Gudergan for the title "Advanced Issues in Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling" published by SAGE. The award ceremony took place on 14 June during the VHB annual conference in Rostock. "With this award," writes the VHB, "we in the Association recognize the commitment of our members in business management teaching, which is a second central task of our work as scientists alongside research. The VHB Textbook Prize "is intended to highlight and acknowledge the importance of scientifically sound teaching in business administration".

Guest lecturer at this event is Dr. Markus Eberl, Senior Director of the Kantar Analytics Practice Team in Germany.

The Consumer Research Cluster (CoRe) of the OvGU (Prof. Dr. Sarstedt & Asst. Prof. Lichters) in cooperation with the Friedrich-Naumann-Foundation for Freedom are pleased to welcome the first parliamentary managing director of the FDP in the German Bundestag, Dr. Marco Buschmann, to a guest lecture.
We offer all interested students and teachers the opportunity to take part in this guest lecture with the topic: "Political marketing using the example of the repositioning of the FDP brand".

In this summer semester, all students who want to take the Marketing Performance Management exam (regularly offered in the winter semester) have the opportunity to secure the five bonus points by participating in the "Google Digital Garage" for the first time!
All you have to do is to participate under the link https://learndigital.withgoogle.com/digitalgarage, watch all videos and answer all questions - at the end you will receive a certificate, which has to be submitted by 20.06.2019. If you have already taken part in the Digital Garage in the winter semester, but were unable to complete the exam, you will receive the bonus points at no extra cost for a new attempt in this summer semester.

Marketing scientists have been working with fragrance designers to find out whether artificial fragrances make rail travel more enjoyable. They do, according to the scientists from Magdeburg. Would manipulation be desirable?
